It monitors the position of satellites in the sky, calculates where it is and sends that location by radio, and then internet to our server. You can then log on to the server and check the last known location on a map screen.
They update every hour when parked and typically a couple of times a minute depending on your speed, your change of direction, etc. when moving. Our battery powered tracker (AVT 21) updates less to save battery, and will be programmed based on your use.
Like most suppliers we use the old American system but because our units are manufactured for Europe, we also use the more modern European Galileo system and the Russian GLONASS system. Our unit will automatically combine information from the strongest ones it can locate to give you the most precise location
For most people professional installation it certainly is not required. A connection to the vehicle's power supply is all that is need for a basic installation. However, a little bit of thought should always be given to find a suitable location where it’s not immediately on show. We supply basic fitting instructions, and our email and phone helpline are available seven days a week if you need extra advice.
You don’t need one! There is no need to purchase and download a never updated 'App' to use the system, our program works on any Internet browser. That means you can use your Phone, Tablet, Apple or Windows Computer, even a Smart TV. Any internet device should work as long as you know your log-in name and password.
Yes, our server will hold your vehicle location history for up to three months. This you can instantly replay for a day, a week, a month, showing a snail trail across the map. You can also download your history to your computer and keep it for all time. This can of course be useful in the event of some dispute, or other motoring incident.
Yes, there are several things you can do! - With all our trackers you can set up a Geo-fence around where you keep the vehicle and then have the system send an email message each time it leaves and returns to that area. With AVT 10 and 12 you can connect to the vehicle's ignition, the interior light, a door sensor, or your existing alarm and again trigger an alarm message.
The monthly subscription is an affordable £7.50 per month. Most importantly our charges include everything – Map license, data storage, global airtime and 7-day a week support. You will never be ‘surcharged’ because you left your area, went abroad, kept using the helpline, or missed a payment. .
The initial purchase of the unit is by bank transfer and will include the cost of the unit and its first monthly charge. This allows us time to help you set up a standing order ready for the second month Importantly this is a monthly contract which you are free to cancel at any time after the third month.
It is true that some 3G networks have gone already, and both networks will be permanently closed in the next few years. The good news is that unlike some internet suppliers we use modern 4G data units, that will work almost anywhere in the world.
The system monitors the distance the unit travels using GPS information and so it accurate. If you go over by a small amount no one is going to worry! If however your circumstances change and you know you will go over, just call us and at worst we will put you on the slightly higher non classic MTS rate.

If you know what you want to purchase just call or send an email with the name and address for the invoice (yours or the company’s) and if different the delivery address. We will then put your unit(s) in build and email you a quote, Check the details are correct and confirm. We will then send a invoice for you to pay via bank transfer and dispatch in normally next day.
